Bev - broadcast/multimedia journalist.
Bev has 10 years of industry experience and has worked at Times Radio, talkSport and a range of BBC Local radio stations. She is a reliable freelancer based in the Home Counties and is willing to travel a reasonable distance for work. She is Optimo-trained for BBC online writing. She can also work remotely. Bev is one of the most diligent and willing freelancers I have been lucky to employ. Always willing to learn and adapt and with a great voice.
Tom - award-winning audio producer.
Tom is an experienced audio producer who has made podcasts and radio documentaries for the likes of BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 3, the BBC World Service and more. He is skilled at developing pitches, working with high profile presenters, recording in-depth interviews on sensitive topics and editing audio to a high standard on ProTools. With a wealth of experience on topics including history, music, arts and human interest projects, he also has a strong track record in factual TV production and development. Based in North London, he is available for office and remote working.
Steven - multi-media journalist.
Steven has worked as a senior producer and news editor for some of the country’s biggest TV, newspaper and digital organisations, including Sky Sports News, the Daily Mail and GB News. Steven lives just outside London and is available for office-based work all over the UK and remote working.
Ellie - multimedia NCTJ trained journalist.
Ellie is a dynamic journalist with experience producing multimedia content including news videos, podcasts, social media posts and digital features. Ellie has written breaking news stories, lifetsyle content and long-form features on a range of topics from policy analysis to sustainability. Her work has been included in Nub News, Mancunian Matters, The Climate News UK, the Whitchurch Herald, the Shropshire Star, RugbyWorld and the Hackney Citizen. Ellie is available for office based work in London or remote working.
Charlie - multimedia content creator with a specialty in sport
Charlie is a versatile journalist and content creator, having had some form of experience across multiple aspects, within the media industry. Charlie has produced content for multiple football pages, alongside being a writer and a broadcast commentator. He is available for office-based work in Somerset, and remote working elsewhere.
Hannah - broadcast / multimedia journalist
Hannah is an experienced journalist having worked at BBC West Midlands and BBC Asian Network. She has worked as a radio reporter producing packages on events across the region and is an assistant producer at the BBC. She is skilled at pitching episode topics, scriptwriting interviews and editing packages. At Jesmond Local, she worked as a political correspondent writing articles about voting trends and the cost of living crisis. Hannah is available for office-based work across the UK and remote working.
Richard - print, digital, and broadcast journalist
Richard is a journalist with more than a decade’s worth of experience at print, digital, and broadcast outlets, working for titles at a regional and national level. He has produced a range of stories for national newspapers and magazines and has broadcast experience as a reporter and newsreader for BBC Berkshire. Richard is available for office based work in London and the south of England, as well as remote working.
